After a little color calibration it looks fantastic. I've always owned Sony but my last two tv's have been Samsung and I dont think I'll switch back. Been very pleased with both. No issues what so ever.

PROs- The HD 1080i/1080p mode is stunning with the realism of the actors. The picture is dramatic as the realism appears 3D like without the glasses. The TV obviously can upscale as well from 480p cable source to a very good picture. I do not really know how to describe this look to the video it creates, but I've never seen anything like it. Good quality to the viewing angle both wide and vertical. Our brightly lit room with a wall of windows doesn't show obvious reflection which was a criteria for selection.
B&H repacked the TV with extra bubble pack to ensure safe shipment and it arrived a day early on standard shipping.
Cons: It seems the audio quality is tinny, and i think that the delay in sound processing is different from my stereo creating not quite an echo, as much as elongated speed. We have to use only one sound source but no obvious lip sync problems can be found, as it's too minor to see. Also, I have to use a 15foot HDMI cable to may contribute to the sync issue.

Picture is great, TV was easy to set. Remote is fairly simple to operate. TV does not have some of the fancier internet streaming functions but I do not need them, as every blue ray player has all the streaming functions built in. Overall good buy.

I wanted a TV with clean design, network connectivity for media streaming, and of course great picture. This unit really does have it all.
I use Mezzmo DLNA streaming software which provides a very compatible server for this TV. I can watch pretty much any media file, and skipping forward and backward in time functions well. The TV / server combo remembers if I stopped watching at a given time and lets me skip to that point.
The Samsung wireless adapter is too expensive - I use a Rosewill 802.11n USB adapter which was half the price, and can stream 1080p mkvs without a hiccup.
In the future this TV will be connected to an HTPC, but for now it's great to point it at my network and let it do all the work.
Image is great, backlight is quickly adjustable when too bright with the lights all out, and backlight adjustment doesn't tweak all the other image settings. Inputs are available on the side and the back, power cable is natively 90-degree angled if you're going for a wall mount.
The remote has a backlight toggle, buttons are big and well placed and very useable. Sound is pretty decent for TV speakers.

I was looking for a "low" tech TV (no widgets/apps) I have 2 other Samsung TV's in my home, a 55"& 32" and I wanted to keep w/ the brand becuase of their consistant quality. This set hasn't let me down - sound is incredible for a flat screen (speakers fire down now) Picture is smooth, crisp - everything I want w/ out all the bloatware apps!

I had been using a 46" Sony Wega LCD/Projector for the past six years. It was HD, and I thought the picture was good until I bought the 630. Wow, what a difference. Much better picture quality, sounds just as good in a much smaller package and looks very nice in my living room. I also connected a Samsung BDD5700 Bluray and DVDs and Blurays look incredible! I like that the TV has an up conversion that makes my old DVDs look almost as good as new Blu rays. Great TV! Service was also excelling!

Using the 46D630 with Samsung BD-D5700 Blu-Ray and very happy with its picture quality. Cablevision signals are also coming in strong and looks great even in 1080i. I will also be getting an Energy Elite soundbar and sub in a few days to add some much needed audio, but that is to be expected with flat screens. B&H service was also excellent!
