The Thecus NVR42 Network Recording System is a desktop form factor-system that integrates multiple devices such as a network video recorder, a real-time monitoring system, and a networked storage unit, and offers real-time monitoring, networked storage, and recording capabilities.
You can use the NVR42 Network Recording System with up to 12 IP cameras thus resulting in real-time monitoring of several locations without any additional devices. Ideal for high security applications, it can be used for real-time monitoring and recording via 4 external SATA hard disk bays that offer enhanced storage capacity. Multiple video formats such as MJPEG, MPEG-4, H.264, and MxPEG (Mototix only) are supported by the network recording system.
Augmented data security is enabled via selective raid modes that allow administrators to configure the NVR42 Network Recording System for optimal protection of critical data. It comes with NETAVIS Observer Surveillance software.
