The new tv is an upgrade from our last one. The picture is clear and the settings are easy to adjust.
We had not bought new cables, and we were having problems with the picture when using the VCR. New cables fixed it. It also had digital sound output, so get the digital sound cable, too.
Samsung does a great TV.

There seems to be a lot about this TV that I haven't explored, but what has been done is a bunch of game playing & movie watching - all un-excelled - this was worth waiting for - the new trimlines give a bigger pic - sharp detail - great color - this is the Awesome One - No faults at this point.
