Even before you turn it on, the Samsung PN64D7000 64" Plasma 3D HDTV enhances your environment by simply being a beautiful object. The black-brushed frame creates an illusion of floating which is augmented by the 1" (25.4mm) wafer thin panel. It's when you fire it up, however, that it becomes obvious that the PN64D7000 is at the frontier of a flat panel breakthrough which turns traditional passive viewing into a completely interactive experience with a radically immersive element: 3D.
See how 3D HD movies and sports come alive with a true sense of depth and action that leaps from the screen. Connect to a Samsung Blu-ray 3D player to play 3D titles or intensify your viewing experience by upconverting regular 2D content to immersive 3D.
By unifying all of the TV's advanced imaging technologies, the Samsung Crystal Full HD Engine expands performance, enhances all aspects of the image, and takes picture quality and image integrity to new levels of excellence. Furthermore, ConnectShare Movie technology allows users to connect a thumb drive or digital camera quickly and easily. With the user friendly interface, you will have access to videos, a music playlist and pictures via the remote. Samsung audio and video devices connect via one of the four HDMI interfaces.
Finally, Energy Star compliance ensures that your TV will save you money while it helps preserve the environment.

Comments about Samsung PN64D7000 64" Plasma 3D HDTV:
Beautiful TV. I still need to tweak/calibrate but have been very happy with the picture quality so far. No complaints yet, but the screen does seem a tiny bit dimmer than my last samsung. I am not going to adjust brightness settings until I have about a hundred hours or so on the set. I will update later. Very little glare (almost none) too. I also have my PC hooked up to this tv through HDMI and had to adjust some resolution settings. Still not perfect, but pretty darn close. I use an Nvidia graphics card so the drivers allow size and resolution tweaks. Font scaling is still not perfect, but I am still working on it.

Comments about Samsung PN64D7000 64" Plasma 3D HDTV:
The picture quality is simply amazing, can view from any angle. Only had the unit for a couple weeks so cant speak of dependability but I own several Samsung products without any issues. Actually I purchased the 2010 7000 series 58" plasma in Feburary which preforms flawlessly with same great picture. When our main tv went out there wasnt any question what I would replace it with. Internet apps are a breeze to use.
