Because it is hot-swappable, you can immediately replace a failed disk in your 4big Quadra. Plus, a secured RAID mode will automatically rebuild your data once the disk is inserted without causing any downtime in your workflow. In order to work properly, the capacity of your spare disk must be equal to or higher than the capacity of the disk being replaced.
