The Bigblue AL1x5W AFO Dive Light is superb as a back-up light or focus light, and, if need be, it can function as your primary light for underwater photography. Powered by three AAA batteries, the single 5W LED of the AL1x5W AFO light emits 250 lumens of brightness, in a beam 40° wide and at a color temperature of 6500 °K.
For its use as a backup or focus light, the AL1x5W AFO offers the Auto Flash Off function. This innovative feature causes the AL1x5W to go dark for a second when your external strobe flashes opposite the light. No longer will your photos exhibit the unwanted spot light of the backup light; only the even, pleasing light of the strobe will illuminate the image. The AL1x5 AFO is underwater rated down to 328'.
