Audio is fine tuned with advanced Digital Cinema Auto Calibration with automatic phase matching and sound optimizer technologies. This receiver also upscales analog sources to near HD quality with a Faroudja DCDi Edge video chip so you can enjoy optimal quality from any source materials.
If you're like us and you have a pile of remotes for all your gear, you might enjoy controlling your new STR-DN1020 directly through your iPhone or iPod touch, which just requires a free download from the App Store. You can also play music and videos from your iPod or iPhone with the included dock, and it's compatible with most models. Operation is further simplified with the advanced on-screen GUI that's easy to navigate for easy system adjustments. Can get loud, takes a bit of getting used to but sounds great. The twist connectors are a pain to use, I just got banana plugs.
