The Microboards Pioneer BDR-206BK Blu-ray Internal Drive is a Blu-ray recorder / writer. It is also capable of writing DVDs and CDs and reading Blu-ray discs / BDs, DVDs and CDs. The drive is capable of writing BDs at a maximum speed of 12x, DVDs at 16x, and CDs at 40x. Using the high-speed Serial ATA / SATA Interface, this writer also features CyberLink BD Suite 8 software for Blu-ray and DVD movie viewing, video editing and filmmaking, Blu-ray, DVD and CD burning and secure data encryption.
- Author high-definition Blu-ray Disc content and enjoy high-capacity data storage capability: One BD-R DL disc holds as much data as 10 DVDs (single layer).
- Quiet Drive intelligently adjusts disc rotation speed to minimize noise; Pure Read automatically adjusts drive parameters to reduce sound glitches during playback
- Cyberlink BD Suite 8: PowerDVD lets you watch Blu-ray and DVD movies; PowerDirector for video editing lets you create your own Blu-ray and DVD movies; Power2Go allows you to easily burn files and copy discs to Blu-ray, DVDs and CDs and encrypt your files on discs for security
