The 3D-XL Projector Adapter from Optoma is a 3D projector adapter that enables 3D-ready projectors to display 3D broadcasts. The 3D-XL simply connects between a 3D source and a DLP projector.
The 3D-XL is compatible with the following Optoma Projectors: PRO160S, GT720, TX779, TX542-3D, PRO260X, GT700, TW775, TX610ST, PRO360W, GT360, TX785, TW610ST, HD66, EW536, TX762, TW536 and TW762. The 3D-XL is also compatible with the following third-party projectors: Acer's H5360, BenQ's MP626 and MX750 ST, Viewsonic's PJD6251 and PJD6531W, and Vivitek's D510.
In order to achieve full 3D, you will need ZD101 3D Glasses (included).

If you use a 4.1 HDMI cable, you will not need to touch the SBS button as the unit will auto detect the signal.
There is a firmware upgrade available.
Included only one set of 3D glasses. There should be atleast two (Optoma, please take note).
Unit must be on even if you want to just pass the signal thru for 2D viewing.
3D is GREAT on my Optoma HD66 projector and 100" Elite screen.

Easy to install and to use. It is working with Optoma PRO350W, PS3 and ZD101 glasses. The PS3 3D games and 3D blu-ray videos are impressive. Now I have a 3D home cinema of 80". I am lucky for doing the best choice.

So far so good. Works great and have had no hickups with this system. Would highly recommend using DLP glasses and not getting an emitter- the distortion is unbearable. I tried using Xpand X103's with a JVC emitter and it was horrible. The DLP glasses were great through- looks as good with those as my X103's do with my Samsung PNC 8000. Highly recommend this product- nothing quite like a 120" movie in full 3D
