I have not used this tripod in the field yet. But, I have used it inside taking pictures of the family. It does exactly as represented. I like the way it is adjustable and it seems durable. I like the way my large SLR feels stable even on this small device. What is a bit unhandy and is not necessarily a function of the tripod is how it is not possible to access the battery and SD card when the unit is installed. However, it is a simple matter to remove it. The idea of attaching a "screw driver on a cord" to remove the device is a great idea. Excellent piece of equipment for the money.
