This is used in a family room setting and we have no complaints. Compared to the S**y that costs almost twice as much, it looks like the price point should be the other way around. If you're not using a surround sound system or some other sound solution you may want to consider a soundbar just for a little more umph but.....I'd recommend that with almost any flat screen.

The price is incredible, the delivery timely (and free). One could spend hundreds more on a better TV with only a very small improvement in picture quality. I have been using it also as a large computer monitor for digital slide shows and it is excellent in this regard also.
