Just bought one for the bedroom. Great picture. Terrible sound. Reminds me of a 50's transistor radio. Love the light weight, slim design and ease of use. Will probably hook it up to a better sound system though. Disappointed with over the air reception. Even with multi-directional amplified antenna, I cannot easily pick up a local station.

it has a perfect-o picture with very true color and clarity and then you have to listen to horribly tinny sound. There is just no bass and the very high frequencies are not there either.
So with it on Mute and the captions on, all is well.

I bought this TV for my boyfriend for Christmas and hooked it up in the bedroom. The sound was like listening through a tin can. When going back to the store that we bought it, the salespeople admitted the sound was poor in the size and model and suggested external speakers, which we bought for another [$]. I wouldn't recommend this to my worst enemy.

Decent picture - not bad not great. Most LCD/LEDs of this size have lousy sound - this one has particularly bad audio. For XX you can easily add PC speakers or twice that # for a passable sound bar.

Had two of these and both had power supply problems. After 3 months the TV stops powering on and you have to call Toshiba for warranty support. Worst support EVER! Not only do they not work with you but they expect you to pay for the shipment to their "repair shop". Avoid this TV and all Toshiba's for that matter.
