Toshiba's 47TL515U 47" 1080p 3D LED TV is one of those ultra slim 3D TVs you've been hearing so much about. Not only can it display 1080p high definition signals, it can do so in 3D.
Whether you're watching 2D or 3D programming you'll enjoy an image with high contrast and natural colors thanks to the ClearScan 240 technology. But then this set was designed for the most demanding videophile. Its four HDMI 1.4 inputs ensure that signals will stay in pure digital form from source to set. And you can control components that are compatible from a single remote control.
All this power comes at a price, a price lower than you might expect. The TV offers a Gaming Mode, which initiates the gaming experience by reducing game controller delay. Two USB ports allow for playback of video, music, and photos via the USB port. Finally, with built-in Wi-Fi, connectivity is easier than ever too.

Comments about Toshiba 47TL515U 47" 1080p 3D LED TV:
This TV was a great deal. Arrival was exactly on schedule. The picture is terrific. I previouly had a 50"Vizio plasma that ate up a lot of electricity, this seems to be an energy sipper and has a better picture than the plasma. The only flaws that I don't care for much is the initial boot up time of about 35 seconds and the lousy speakers/sound. I recommend this TV to my friends.

Comments about Toshiba 47TL515U 47" 1080p 3D LED TV:
This is the main TV in our home (1 of 2 total) and so wanted to make a great choice, replacing a 7-year old Panasonic LCD that we also bought from B&H. Our budget was $1K and we wanted a great picture with lots of internet/streaming options. 3D wasn't our primary motivator but it has turned out to be fun to have, and enough glasses for our whole family are included (4). The 2D to 3D conversion feature gives us 3D effects at one easy touch of a button, and works very well for panoramic, action and/or animated 2D HD shows. The Consumer Reports and CNET reviews of this TV were only so-so, but when we got a favorable review from a B&H expert via Live Chat, we decided to take the plunge and are thrilled we did. The sound quality is the TV's weakest feature but with one $20 audio cable bought locally, we hooked the TV to our old Bose sound system. This was super easy to do and now the TV sounds as amazing as it looks. The TV has lots of input options and while it took a while to get our peripherals hooked in and set up, we were able to do it ourselves without stress. Thank you, B&H!
