With the Vello Duo TTL Off-Camera Flash Cord you can set up a single flash for off-camera lighting and retain your entire camera's TTL (through the lens) flash functions. Multiple contact pins support TTL-compatible flashes used with Canon, Nikon, Fujifilm, Pentax and Samsung digital cameras. The off-camera hot shoe can mount to accessory shoes or 1/4"-20 threaded studs on tripods, booms, or light stands.
In Manual mode (non-TTL function) you can use two flashes together, both synchronized with your shutter release to create amazing lighting effects and two-light setups. Each terminal has a hot shoe so you can still keep one flash on the camera while setting up the other flash somewhere else.
Note! Flash units must be compatible with each other (if using two) and with the camera for synchronization to take place. TTL functions work only in single flash setups.
This cord works with flash units from the following manufacturers with cameras listed above: Canon, Nikon, Pentax, Fujifilm, Sunpak, Sigma, Metz, and Samsung.

I had a model shoot but i needed the ETTL use. My packet wizard just didn't do the job. but the 33' ETTL cord what great. It gave me the ETTL capabilities and with the flash of the camera. The best part is the cable didn't even get in the way. throw it to the side and it didn't interfere with my work.

Great alternative to expensive radio triggers if you can stand to detangle the thing every so often. It's worth owning even if you have radio triggers if you are working in tricky conditions and need radio just isn't cutting it.

Just used it on a job - great for run-and-gun lighting in remote locations. Does not play nice with my Pocket Wizard plugged into my Profoto flash though - triggers the big strobe on first phase of depressing the shutter release (and then keeps triggering) Otherwise great, and the length is just right for spreading the two light sources.

I wanted an off camera flash cord that was longer than 6 ft. I was really looking for something in the 15 ft. range but found this for about the same price as a 6 ft. cord. Works great with TTL.

I use this to trigger a Canon 580EXII mounted inside a Wescott Apollo softbox for portraits. I like to use the flash on manual control and this setup allows you to adjust the light output from the back of a 7D vs. going inside the softbox and adjusting the flash. The 580 can still work as a master, triggering fill and hair lights with built in wireless preflash. You can control output on A, B and C groups independently from the camera in manual mode.
Plastic shoe mount build quality seems reasonable compared to my shorter Canon off camera ETTL cord. The only reason for 4 star rating is you have to twist/untwist the entire length in order to stretch it out or coil it back up which is kind of a hassle.

This is a cable everyone should have if they have a flash. You can move the flash off to the side and not pull it over every time you move the camera and still have all your TTL working.
