The AValon RF OTX627-AB COFDM Digital Video Transmitter (AB Battery Mount) is a 16-channel video transmitter based on COFDM (Coded Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) digital video transmission. The OTX627-AB operates within a standard frequency range of 2.1 to 2.5 GHz or allocated custom band.
You are provided with 1 video, 2 stereo audio, and data channels with a transmission rate of 19.2Kbps. It comes with a PC GUI that allows you to modify the allocations and parameters for the 16 preset channels. At the core of video transmission is the robust QPSK (Quadrature Phase Shift Keying) modulation technique. Also included is an AB battery mount.
Providing a high output power of 0.6 W, the OTX627-AB draws a low power of 6.5W DC. You can use the lightweight (1 lb / 0.45kg) and compact (4 x 5.25 x 1.5” / 100 x 130 x 40 mm) OTX627-AB for applications limited by heat and size, such as ENG, news gathering, video assist, UAV / UGV / USV video links, first responders, special forces, covert wireless video link, robots, and body worn transmitters.
