The speed of this card has been great for action work. I also got fast results when I was shooting video; I was able to record many significant exchanges between police and Occupy Wall Street protesters. Download times are noticeably faster with this class 10 card than with class 6, although both are dramatically better than the lower rated cards. Performance of Lexar memory cards has been consistently excellent over the years.

My Nikon D-7000 has two card slots so I use these back to back with the 2nd as the overflow card. My fear with one 16 card is if it gets lost or damaged you have lost it all. B&H's competative pricing on two 8's makes this a no brainer....in my book anyway

Hey, their memory cards. Not much can go wrong with them. Having said that, these cards do fly. I love the speed. No problem with them hanging up the cameras. Works well whether you're shooting continuous frames in still, or video. With the price of memory cards these days, why get smaller ones, and for heaven's sake, don't get off-brands. Lexar Pros, the best.
