I'm learning digital photography. I decided to try these 8GB CF cards.
Data transfer is fast. The capacity of the cards is more than enough for a learner. I'm shooting in RAW mode so files are large.
So far I have not had any slowdown in camera performance - even in burst mode - which tells me that the cards are writing data fast enough.
The only drawback is that the cards do not come in individual cases. I'm using a ziploc bag to store the cards in my camera bag - and to prevent dust and lint from blocking the connector ports on the cards.

Deal great ... But where are the cases?
Maybe I didn't read the details clearly, but I was surprised there were no protective cases to store the cards. pleased my cards arrived quickly.

Great deal on 2 8GB 200x cards. For what I do, more than 30GB/sec is not really necessary.

typical great card from Lexar and great price from B&H. Cards delivered ahead of date. I use these cards in a Nikon D3s and D300. works very well and with the large buffer on the D3s the card never bogs the camera down.

These cards work really well. They're large enough to store close to 400 raw files, but not so large that I feel like my entire shoot could be lost if the card was damaged or misplaced. And these cards write quickly on the Nikon D700 & D300. They're not as fast as the most current crop (400x or greater) of cards, but neither are my cameras. Only complaint is that the 2/pk doesn't include the individual cases, which I still prefer over mulit-card cases or wallets.

I have had a great experience so far with my canon 5d. It gives me about 300+ pictures shooting with raw which with 2 is more than enough for one day of capturing photos. I was wondering about getting a class up and Im glad that I was able to save some money and still get great quality. Probably will get some more soon just to have for my back up 50d
