The POD HD from Line 6 is a desktop guitar tone modeler that features 22 HD amplifier models along with over 100 M-class effects. Up to 8 effects can be used simultaneously with a fully routable signal chain. Dual tone functionality further enhances the scope of tones available from this processor.

In keeping with the "no menu clicking" philosophy, the unit uses dedicated front panel knobs for all the major tone controls, while a clear LCD display aids in setting up the signal chain. A tap tempo button and looper further enhance the POD HD, and 512 presets provide enough starting points for even the most discriminating players.

A separate microphone input is available along with a digital S/PDIF output. A foot controller jack allows for connecting an optional FBV foot pedal for even greater control. For those that require even more control, Line 6 provides a downloadable software editor/librarian.

Lastly, the processor features a built-in tuner and is housed in a rugged metal chassis that is equally at home in the studio as it is on the road. The unit ships with an external power supply and a USB cable for connecting to a PC or Mac computer.
