The M5 Stompbox Modeler from Line 6 is a single stompbox that delivers 100+ distortions, choruses, reverbs and other expressive effects in a single-pedal-size unit. Although it runs one effect at a time, it has a complete collection of modern and vintage effects that are delivered with excellent sonic integrity. A universal tap tempo function controls all time-based effects.
Operation of the pedal is simple and intuitive. There are no menus, saving or hassles. Tweak your tones on the fly using the dedicated knobs, and when powered down the settings remain, just like a regular stompbox. Its inputs and outputs integrate seamlessly into any pedal board, MIDI setup, or live, studio or rehearsal situation. The solid construction assures survival from the rigors of the road.

Comments about Line 6 M5 Stompbox Modeler - Digital Effects Pedal:
I use this pedal in conjunction with my compressor and overdrive pedal. It is a nice complement to my existing sound, but I would not want to use it as my sole pedal. Not every effect is useful to me, and many more needed to be dialed back from factory settings so they are more subtle. The tuner is fantastic. It is nice to have for adding color and texture when I need it, without having to cart around a separate flanger, tremolo, delay, reverb, rotary, and tuner pedal, especially since I seldom want any two or more of those at once. Being able to set a gate and decay for every preset channel is nice too.
I haven't tried it with an expression pedal yet.
