I ordered this drive to burn music CD's as my MacBook internal DVR/RW refused to preform the burn function. The drive arrived on time and in perfect condition and included Nero Software. Apparently the Nero software is not needed on the Mac but was not clearly indicated. Ultimately I just attached the drive to my USB ports, initiated a CD burn, selected the new Samsung drive and everything worked.
