We bought this to use in our Shipping/Receiving group, to protect an iPad out on the floor. I looked through about 30 different types of so called protective covers, and most do not allow you to actually use the iPad when it is in the cover. This does offer some protection while in place.
Additional Pros & Cons to the list above -
Pros:
- Protects front and back from scratching when setting it down
- The access holes and cutouts line up properly
- We expect (hope) it will provide some protection when a drop occurs. We have not tested this yet, but expect it will happen.
Cons:
- As others have noted, it has more 'give', especially along the long edges, than we would like. If you grip just one edge, it feels like the iPad might fall out. I don't think it actually would, but a snugger fit would be create less anxiety. That is why I give it 4 stars instead of 5.
