Comments about Kata Padded Camera Insert for KT DB-455:
I was looking for an insert for my T2i, light diffuser, charger, lens cleaner, and two lenses (one is a macro lens) and it all fits perfectly. Insert is used in a variety of bags (tote, backpack, or shoulder bag) so I like that I can use it how I need it at any given time. Would like for the outer material to be firmer, to give a little more support... I would never use it to hold gear if I were packing luggage or as a carry-on because the insert would not protect it enough. Definitely use a camera bag equipped to protect your gear in that case. But for casual transport, works great.

This is an amazing little pouch. I don't know how they make them for so cheap. It is easily padded enough to protect your gear from anything but the heaviest of knocks. It's deep enough to fit my 5dii with my 24-70 L and my 50 1.4 and zip the top. Easy to carry handle is handy. I use this as an insert in a small shoulder bag. It's perfect. I bought three this time, and I am considering buying many more as general storage for my gear.

This is great for all my extras that I might want to throw in a bag - especially if I'm going to have my camera around my neck all the time. Can be thown in any bag - and the bright yellow is great to see everything in there. Even holds my camera if I need it to. Just wish the side-walls were a little more sturdy/stiff.

It was a little bigger than expected. It's not bad, just a little flimsy. Reminds me of a lunch bag.

It's a kata product! which I own a bag already.
Loved the bag, Kata 3n1-22, but it's a bit too big to carry around all the time.
I wanted a padded camera pouch for DSLR to carry my D7000 around in my regular daypack to provide extra cushioning. It's good for the price but just not as sturdy or i should say rigid as I had hoped for. The pouch is really soft, easily flatten. I feel like it can at most protect from scratches and tiny bumps, not even the slightest dropping of the camera to the ground from waist level. I would still keep it and use it, but with more caution than I would like.

I was looking for some kind of bag to use as a storage for small components for my video and photo setups. I just bought one. It replaced my plastic bags that used to be very unreliable to store little metal pieces. I'm thinking to buy 10 more of this yellow Kata bags to put everything. (I already own Kata bag for photo and video so it is a plus for all kata bag owners)

I was looking for a way to protect my cameras when I carry them in a backpack. I have a Zing case but it is a poor fit for both of my cameras. This case is great. I can fit a camera with lens, a flash and extra lens in it easily. It's well padded. I purchased one for each of my cameras so now I just grab the kit I want, drop it into my pack and go.
