The Panasonic TC-L32DT30 32" Class VIERA DT30 Series 3D LED TV is yet another high-end display to ride the mounting tsunami of panels which turn traditional passive viewing into a completely interactive experience with radically immersive 3D technology. Cue up a 3D movie in your Blu-ray player and you're on your way. In fact, even if you don't have 3D content, the TC-L32DT30's powerful processor can render regular 2D content into simulated 3D on the fly. Just add high-precision 3D eyewear to add a new "dimension" to your favorite classics and 2D programs. You can even view JPEG photo slideshows stored on a thumbdrive, SD memory card or computer in 3D.
The sleek TC-L32DT30 is certainly going to attract attention even before you turn it on. With its Full HD (1920 x 1080) resolution and Clear Panel, thanks to proprietary Infinite Black technology, it starts out with some spectacular specs. But then Panasonic has added feature upon feature to improve an already excellent picture. Its 3D Color Management feature improves the hue, saturation and brightness by precisely honing in on those colors that need correction while leaving others alone.
The TC-L32DT30 also has three USB ports from which it can play programming. You can also use one of the USB ports to plug in a USB wireless LAN adapter. The set is already Internet-ready; with its built-in RJ-45 jack you can plug directly into your broadband modem or via a router. Panasonic calls it VIERA Cast; you'll call it amazing. Imagine viewing YouTube and Picasa Web Albums on your TV with no PC or external boxes required! The built-in Web menu updates itself automatically as new content becomes available. The addition of Skype makes it possible to talk live to friends all over the world. Best of all you can talk for free as long as you want to anyone who's on Skype.
Finally, Energy Star qualified ensures that your TV will save you money while it helps preserve the environment.

Love the TV, only two wished...a DVI input for my computer and they need to add a web browser to their apps. I do appreciate that unlike Samsung and other brands, they include the wirless LAN adapter.

Comments about Panasonic TC-L32DT30 32" Class VIERA DT30 Series 3D LED TV:
This television has great reviews by folks in Europe but in the U.S. I see a lot of people stating that it doesn't work with HDMI which is incorrect. I'm currently using this Panasonic as a primary computer monitor via HDMI with an MSI N560GTX-Ti Twin Frozr II/OC video card micro-HDMI to HDMI adapter and I have no problems running at 1080p. As it stands, I have it hooked up to DirecTV, an Xbox 360, a PS3, & my i7 970 self-built computer all via HDMI. I have also hooked up my Macbook Air via a Displayport to HDMI adapter & have had no problems. An internet dongle & remote come in the box although I don't use the internet applications on the TV & don't use 3D, so I can't comment there. I replaced a Sharp 32" LC-32GP1U Gaming TV because it gave off too much heat & used more electricity than this new Panasonic does.It has pixel mapping & is a bit expensive although my 32" Sharp cost me $1200 in 2006 so prices are relative. If you really want that $280 42" 720p display from [@] with no pixel mapping you should get it but don't complain about this product because it wasn't designed for you. This is a niche product that only a handful of people will appreciate. The display is glossy so in a bright room you will see reflections, in a dark room it's perfect. The input lag on this gaming tv is negligible, I can play Borderlands, Halo Reach, and the Call of Duty series games on this tv & not get too much of a headache & still be able to play competitively. The only problem is that I wanted the 37" but that television is too difficult to find.Although this tv is expensive, you have to remember that you are buying technology. This TV can be used as a PC monitor over HDMI w/ no problems. It's competitors are the Dell 30" which costs about or the Apple 27" and both are smaller in size than this Panasonic but the resolutions are a bit higher. The trade off is 32 inches vs. higher resolutions for either the Dell or Apple monitor plus this Panasonic is a TV, NOT a stand alone monitor. Here are some other reviews for this Panasonic TC-L32DT30 32" tv. Comments about Panasonic TC-L32DT30 32" Class VIERA DT30 Series 3D LED TV:
The picture quality and features of this television are very good. I think it offers a good home theater experience for a small bedroom, but I find the 3D capabilities of the system to be somewhat limited to certain angles. In a large space, the 3D could work, but in tighter quarters, you could lose the active signal very easily--at least it did in my case. Still I am happy with the model.
