Absolutely love this TV. I bought this TV after a lot of research. You can check [@] and AVS Forums reviews; some people reported quality problems such as buzzing sound or changing black colors. I may be just lucky but I have not experienced any problems whatsoever and I happy to report an absolutely stunning picture, host of outstanding features and easy set up. In addition, I'd like to thank B&H for absolutely outstanding customer service as always. I highly recommend buying from B&H especially if you are buying from Canada.

I am interested in a tv that has a good picture and produces quality video from discs. This tv surpasses anything I've seen. The picture is sharp, the colors are accurate and the 3d is beautiful. I do not have cable and the picture off the antenna is superb. I film many stage shows and the video from these discs is perfect.
I am extremely happy with this set. The sound quality is good, but if you're looking for great sound you need to hook up a surround amp and better speakers. I did not expect quality sound, but I'm not disappointed. The only down side is it only has 1 combination composite/AV connection. I have several VCR's (Beta, Vhs, Laser Disc, 8mm, dv) none of which have an hdmi connection. Because there is no s-video I have to use the av connection through an external switch.

I searched for a LONG time (> 1 yr) to find the right TV for me. I watch in a room that has lots of ambient light and although I originally thought I wanted to go with the newer LED technology, I kept finding that plasma was the better way to go for me...both because of the reduced glare as well as the enhanced refresh rate (great for sports). Once I heard from all 5 TV salesmen I spoke to (in stores) that each of them owned plasma & not LED, I knew that the Samsung plasma was going to be the TV for me. I especially love the Samsung "SmartHub", which lets me easily access Netflix, Hulu, and the web.
