You buy an HD TV for the picture. This Samsung model has a great HD picture. I set mine in Movie mode with only minor tweaks to the picture setting to compensate for my viewing room. The picture is crystal clear. The TV was easy to set up and program. With sound delivered through an old Bose stereo system it makes a great home theatre for very little money.

Mounted this 51 inch plasma tv on the wall great picture has good sound surround a plus love watching movies with it. Its down side is no internet connection however for the money I dont thing youll find any better B&H shipped to my door the men brought the TV in and took it out of the box for my inspection...
