This is the router I chose for my stepdaughters dorm room, she shares with 3 other room mates. The router is very easy to setup and is virtually maintenance free. I have nothing negative to say about the E1200.
For me, if it is Linksys, I will use it. I am speaking from experiences with their tech support and customer service. Second to none! I have several Linksys products in my home.

Router was fairly easy to install, although it lacks any way to hang it on a wall. Prior router had
hang-able feet, which, of course, we know because we had router hanging on wall. We had to find a flat surface for this router.
My laptop connected using disc, and the software gives you files you can put on a thumb drive to install other computers on the router. It also offers a non-secure "guest" log in, which keeps guests from accessing your private stuff.
I had a little harder time getting the printer installed; neither Canon nor Cisco's directions were precisely as clear as they could have been, in my opinion, so I spent more time doing things over and over until I got it all sorted. Was kind of aggravated in the middle of it...
The connection speeds are greater than our B/G router, but not by much. Currently I'm at 72 Mbps, compared to prior 54 Mbps, and the printer, which had a strong signal from old router has more limited signal -- in the same location.
Due to speed and signal strength, I confess I am disappointed.

needed to upgrade to wireless router that can handle multiple wireless users in one small office setting. easy to install, use. in fact, so easy, we wondered if we were setting it up correctly. and, of course, it was connected. instantly, the Apple products "signed" on without our help.
best of all is the service from B&H, my fav store for electonics.

We needed a router to support a Roku streamer. The installation was easy and support was good. I preferred to use it with ethernet linkage rather than wireless. I was told data streaming quality and performance would be supereior.

Comments about Linksys E1200 Wireless-N Router:
Works great and fast as described.
However, out of box the wireless didn't work on my unit, it didn't broadcast anything. When I tried accessing the configuration page via a wired connection it also didn't accept the default username/password. Hard Resetting the unit fixed all problems.
Tried to get help via Live Chat on the cisco/linksys webpage, but they were excessively slow to respond and I figured out how to fix the problem myself before they even got back to me.

I am not a very computer literate person, but the set up of this router was super simple. I have had it for just a few weeks and have had no issues at all. I would definitely recommend it!

Comments about Linksys E1200 Wireless-N Router:
Needed to stream online content wirelessly to a TV in the same room, and the E1200 fit the bill. It was extremely easy to setup. It automatically downloaded necessary updates and installs a program on a computer to quickly/easily manage the router. I liked the guest Wifi option which allows one to share your internet connection while protecting your home network.

Using was so simple. It took less than 10 min to set up and running. I don't know if this aan issue with my router or my vonage connection. Whenever I am on a call from my vonage device, The router shuts down the wireless service. It works well with a cable though.

Comments about Linksys E1200 Wireless-N Router:
Super fast to set up. Much faster and more secure than my old G router. Strong signal. N is the only way to go. I have two wired and two wireless devices using the router and it just sits there looking purty and doing it's job. I can now watch movies with no hiccups. Price is right too.
Comments about Linksys E1200 Wireless-N Router:
No problems so far, great for far distances, N compatible.

I've had this product for a few weeks now, and I have zero complaints. My old netgear was acting up, so I needed to replace it. Was debating between an expensive apple product and this linksys. After doing some research, went with the linksys because of the awesome reviews and also, couldnt justify dropping 200 bucks on the apple router.
Again, if you want the best bang for your buck, this router is your best bet.

I had installed a cisco/linksys router at my home some months back and absolutely loved it. When my netgear router at the office started acting strange, I replaced it with this one and haven't looked back. So easy to set up and it works like a champ. I've replaced two netgear routers in the past year, each were less than two years old. And in both cases the Linksys routers have been fantastic replacements.

Excellent product.
It is easy to install and it works well.
The price at B and H was $10 less than at other stores which were offering a special on it.
