The LG 32LK450 32" LCD TV packs a vast amount of great high-end specs and convenience features in an affordable TV that will complement any room in your house.
The combination of Dynamic Contrast, which delivers a ratio of 100,000:1 and full 1080p HD, makes the 32LK450 a remarkable TV by any standard. But that's just the beginning. LG hasn't sacrificed creature comforts for strong specs.
Since every room is different, the 32LK450 employs an Intelligent Sensor to automatically calibrate the optimal settings to match the color and light level of your specific space. If you would like to take it further, you can activate the Picture Wizard II Self-Calibration function and take charge of specific quality settings like sharpness, backlight level, tint, color and black level. The 32LK450 is also ISFccc Ready, meaning that it can be professionally calibrated to your specs and the settings saved as a preset. You can switch back and forth from the factory settings with the push of a button.
The 32LK450's wide connectivity, which includes 2 HDMI connections, enables 1-cable connection of your A/V components. The USB input allows you to share JPEG slide shows and videos with your friends. Real Cinema technology displays HD movies just as they were shot in 24p (24 fps) for an authentic theater experience at home, while Clear Voice II balances the voice channel in relation to swelling music or background noise, so you never miss a word of dialogue.
In addition to all of the above, the 32LK450 is loaded with convenience features like a sleep timer, Parental Control, Closed Captioning A/V input labeling and Favorite Channel Programming. Lastly, Energy Star compliance means that you'll be saving money while helping to save the environment.

I am using this set as an external monitor for my PC. 1080 lines is probably not quite enough to look gorgeous at 32" diagonal, but the display is large enough to read a magazine download with out reading glasses. Menus are a little better than most, but the remote control is the usual plethora of small buttons only semi logically placed.

I bought it because it has audio out, and plenty of inputs. It is the first flat screen TV I have ever owned, and I am glad I waited! Picture quality is fine, remote is good, assembly and packaging also fine. No problems so far. The speakers are not great, but that is expected.

I use this as my main TV in the living room. The picture is superb, nearly perfect, with my cable box. And there are multiple picture presets that look good with no additional adjustment. Plus there's the expert picture adjustment that guides you through setting your own. This comes out nearly perfect too. I was pleasantly surprised by the sound quality for tv watching. Voice is very clear, and overall it sounds very good.
