I had a Cisco 10/100 8 porter in place at home and knew I was going to get a speed upgrade with this unit. But I also seem to have less problems with file transfers and large streams. The packet flow is great with this unit and I have told many others to proceed with the upgrade. I use this with many portable devices, home network HD's, streaming devices, pc's, tablets and laptops, gaming systems, tv's and I am not having any issues.
