International orders*Broncolor and Urs Recher came together to produce the book, Light Architecture 2. The second edition has been updated from the original. In this version, the print quality has been improved and some photos have been replaced. Written in English, this version of the book is accessible to a wide audience of photographers. However, when it comes to the layout of each lighting example, the visuals alone provide all the guidance one might need to recreate the shot.
This impressive and beautiful guide features well explained tutorials and Recher's own images, which illustrate each lighting situation. The book contains 50 different setups, ranging from the studio to mixed light and daylight shooting. Recher also goes into the fundamentals of lighting, explaining them in an easy-to-understand manner. The third chapter of the book is dedicated to all the lamps in the Broncolor product line, making this not only an impressive photography tutorial, but quite likely the most beautiful lighting catalog you'll ever see.

Comments about Broncolor Book: Light Architecture 2 (English):
Book is very direct and scientific in it's approach to lighting. In a very brief space clearly explains crucial principles for lighting tools. The given diagrams of actual projects are useful, though the direct application of these set-ups requires some alteration while establishing the core idea. While this information can be found in other books, the simplicity of instruction and diagrams of more contemporary photo samples establishes this book apart from other similar sources. Four stars because the translation creates some awkward phrases, and the price is hard to vindicate.
