The 60PZ550 yields images that truly show off any source material, be it Blu-ray movies, broadcast and cable TV, or video games. LG's proprietary technologies also ensure that whatever you're watching comes across in rich, detailed color. The 60PZ550 TV's high contrast ratio and low response time make the unit capable of being the centerpiece in any home entertainment system.
The dynamic contrast ratio creates a sense of depth, fine gradation in color and tonal values and a general feeling of "being there" once thought impossible on a two-dimensional panel. LG's 2D to 3D conversion feature adds a 3D effect to 2D television, movies, sports, video games and images, at the touch of a button. The TV comes with a full complement of inputs for components which you may have or may get in the future. The 60PZ550 includes four HDMI and two component inputs for high-definition devices and a PC input which lets you use the set as a computer monitor. I work in the television and movie industry and we normally look at material on hi-end Panasonics. But when my parents purchased the LG I was a bit nervous. Well, that went away when I saw the incredible image I was seeing. Simply amazing! The blacks were deep and watching sports on it was jaw dropping. I highly recommend it. You will not be disappointed!

This TV is awesome the sound is pretty good especially for it to be so thin. I have always been a little skeptical of Plasma TVs, but so far this one doesn't disappoint. The pictue is crisp and the colors are vivid. the 3D and 2D-3D up conversions are excellent.
The only draw would be the glare, but since I am in a light controlled room it's no an issue for me
