We are giving this to my son for Christmas and he is going to go bananas. He uses my husband's all the time. My husband has all his flight info on it and uses it when he flies his plane. So much easier than always having to print out all the maps and information on paper. It is perfect for all ages for all uses. Everyone in the family is on it at one time or another. B and H makes the shopping so easy and it arrived so quickly too. Another happy customer

I bought this to replace a Smart Phone because I just didn't find the phone screen and controls convenient for web searching and my calendar and contacts. I bought a basic phone and am spending the same for service on it and the 3g on the iPad.
So far I couldn't be happier.
I bought this just before a recent getaway and was able to stop and look up restaurants and places on the road.
Also able to look up maps and get email when away from home or hotel. Also used it to play music from a portable set of speakers i the hotel and the sound was quite good.

We bought the iPad for travel, but have been using it every day (even though we have plenty of other options). B&H service was flawless ... as usual.

First I purchased a Zoom for my wife in her insurance business, then learned only an Ipad would work, so returned the zoom and bought an Ipad. This gave my wife the unique opportunity to compare both units. The learning curve was much steeper for the Zoom. The learning curve for the Ipad was almost nonexistant.

I also purchased an Ipad cover....that is why only four stars. It was not satisfactory.

When in the position to hold the Ipad near vertical, like a picture frame, it let loose and dropped her new Ipad to the floor from the table top. While the Ipad works fine it has a damaged/cracked corner. It broke her heart.

My iPad2 is so much lighter than my Macbook Pro. I used to hate packing up the MAC to go out. Now I just take the iPad2. The longer lasting battery makes it easier too. I thought because I live in a rural area I wouldn't get much 3G service, but I do! And my pictures look so much better on the iPad2. Haven't read a book yet, which is what all my friends do with theirs, but I will. What I don't like? I don't like that the cover only covers the front. I get that it needs to breath, I just don't want it to get scratched.

I was told to buy this iPad2 for myself as a Father's Day gift. I took it on vacation and used it heavily to look up places to go, restaurant reviews, keep on top of email, etc. I also loaded it up with some games and cartoon episodes for my six year-old. He loved it. It made 3 hour train rides and 4 hour flights bearable.

I'm pleased that I paid a little more and got the one with the 3G cellular capability. I use it more than I thought I might. Sometimes, for some reason, I find that I cannot get a wi-fi connection - even in places where I can with a MacBook Pro.

For most people (e.g., my Mom) the iPad is all the computer one needs. But I like have a full fledged computer as well. Unfortunately, I do have to use a handful of sites that are made with Adobe flash. Hopefully, all of these issues will be ironed out soon.

Battery life is fantastic.

Look I am not a computer wizard or else I just an average consumer who happens to be like an option of connecting through usb because this type of connection is widely available, established and support by huge number of devises I am a person who likes to have the option of expanding the memory through SD card and transfer favorite pictures and all kind of files from SD card to my device because it is very simple and convenient. People who blindly support Apple can say whatever they what to defend and explain why no usb why no sd why no flash, no hdmi in my strong opinion it is just example of super duper marketing strategy from Apple where they (Apple) trying to sell you a very thin and no question, manufactured with high quality standards device that are lacking in functionality so basically it is easier(cheaper) to produce for Apple thinner, good wrapped device(toy), then pay fee for usb, sd, hdmi connectivity. However at the end of the day when you will need productivity from your device and not just a good looking toy look, I would prefer something more substantial that can be used today with today technology, connectivity and standards. Not just excuses from Apple's experts with dumb explanation why not ...... and in the future it will be.... and something like O you don't need it because we will connect everything through thunderbolt connector..... our connector so we don't pay anybody else... or like flash is not good enough because ..... Basically Apple for 90% is a huge marketing machine which I can give them quite successful.

I love my new iPad 2! It's light and portable, I even carry it in my purse.
The only thing I would say is that they need to improve on the photo quality.

I sold a netbook computer for the iPad 2 and very happy with the purchase. I use the iPad 2 constantly as it is lighter and easier to carry and starts up instantly - biggest advantage over a PC netbook. I use it next to my bed, on the train to work, and even when I am on the can. I added the keyboard accessory because it makes typing so much easier.
