Panasonic PLC-WL2503 WXGA Ultra Short-Throw Multimedia Projector
If you're looking for a lot of projection power for a small space the Sanyo PLC-WL2503 WXGA Ultra Short-Throw Multimedia Projector may just be what you're looking for. With 2500 ANSI lumens, a 500:1 contrast ratio and a 10W speaker, it has the audio and video power for a wide variety or venues from a small office to a full auditorium. But fitting a big image into a tight spot is where it excels.
The PLC-WL2503 is what's called an "ultra short-throw" projector. That means it doesn't have to be far from a screen to project a large image. For example it can project an image 80" (2032mm) wide diagonally just 34" (863.6mm) away from the screen.
It's useful in a broad array of situations because it's so versatile. It's got an HDMI input and it can accept and project 720p, 1080i and 1080p high definition images. Along with its 100 - 240 volt AC 50/60 Hz power supply there are few countries on earth where the PLC-WL2503 can't do the job. It can also display closed captioning from programming sources that provide it, ensuring your whole audience will understand your presentation.
The projector's native resolution is WXGA (1280 x 800) but it can accept and scale signals at UXGA, WXGA, SXGA, XGA, SVGA and VGA resolutions. Audio and video are top notch. If the 10W isn't powerful enough to fill your viewing room with sound, you can plug in powered speakers (not supplied) and control the volume from the remote control.
In a tiny room or a full auditorium, here in the US or around the world, projecting from video or computer sources, the PLC-WL2503 is both powerful and versatile.
- Interactive Pen Function
- The PLC-WL2503 is equipped with an interactive function. Thanks to a built-in sensor and newly developed software, the projection white screen allows it to be written on with a built-in infrared light pen while using a PC

- The PLC-WL2503 can project a full 80" (2032mm) diagonal image from a distance of only 34" (863.6mm). Teachers can project images onto the screen and produce no shadow on the screen. This means they can use large images even in relatively small rooms

- Offering a wide XGA 1280 x 800 (16:10) resolution, the PLC-WL2503 makes it possible to project HD images with easy connection from your DVD player via HDMI terminal
- Network Capability
- The PLC-WL2503 is equipped with SANYO's exclusive PJ Network Interface for wired networking, a common feature among SANYO's extensive line of commercial projectors. Networking allows the monitoring of projector functions and operation from long distance via a web browser, allowing e-mails to be sent automatically to report operating status
- Nearly Maintenance Free
- This projector offers long periods (4000 hours in ideal condition) of maintenance-free use without the need for lamp and filter replacement. The PLC-WL2503 is equipped with SANYO's proprietary hybrid filter, composed of multiple filter layers, and the lamp lifespan has been improved. This longer life span saves time and money on maintenance
- Easy On/Off Function
- The power turns on as soon as you connect the power cord. No need to press any buttons on the remote control or projector. You can also disconnect the power cord as soon as the power is turned off
- Blackboard/Colorboard Mode
- In classrooms and other places where there is no screen available, images can be projected onto the blackboard or colored boards. This enables quick setup when making presentations or calling a quick meeting
