The Eneloop AA NiMH 4-Pack with AC Charger from Sanyo provides you with a rechargeable, reliable and cost-efficient way to always have sufficient power on hand to run your portable games, cameras, flashlights, remote controls smoke alarms and many more devices. Right out of the pack, these batteries are set to go and deliver the kind of power you need.
Eneloops deliver far more reliability than traditional AA alkaline batteries since not only are they ready to go out of the pack but will hold their charge for a much longer time. Even after three years, once charged and unused sitting on your shelf, they will still deliver 75% of their original charge. As an added advantage, you can even charge them when only partially drained. Eneloops can be charged up to 1500x with no memory effect. At less than 4 cents per charge, the math is simple. Eneloop batteries can save you hundreds of dollars on battery purchases and will pay for themselves quickly. These batteries are also environmentally friendly since they do not require you to dispose of them frequently - certainly a benefit to the planet.
The charger is small, lightweight, easy to use and portable. It is rated for 100-240V which makes it perfect for travel. It is designed to hold or charge 2 ~ 4 AA or AAA batteries.

If you are going to use Eneloop cells and use them hard (speedlights use them very hard), you need to have a charger that does individual cell charging, not two at a time. The Powerex/Maha MH-C9000 is best since it will cycle and report status of each cell. As your cells age, and they will with hard repeated use, you need to make sure that cells are balanced. This means that cells should be within 5% or 6% of each other when you are using 2 or more in series in your application. My speedlights use 4 cells in series, as do most. If one cell is weaker than the others, it goes down first, and when it reaches it's end of charge, the other cells, which still have power, will damage it further with reverse bias. This is why you need balanced cells.

Comments about Sanyo Eneloop AA NiMH 4-Pack with AC Charger (2000 mAh, 100-240V):
Batteries are supposed to arrive charged, but still needed to charge them up when the arrived. Charging generally takes overnight. Overall this seems to do the job well. I like the design that allows for recharging either AA or AAA batteries with the same charger.
I was thinking of using these with my 580EX II flash, but the recycle time was pretty long with them, so I opted for regular batteries for my last shoot.
Bottom line this is a good value, well worth the money, these just don't seem suitable for use in my flash.

Comments about Sanyo Eneloop AA NiMH 4-Pack with AC Charger (2000 mAh, 100-240V):
I dont like to shoot flash photography for the reason that its not reliable to fire when you want and the battery dies at the moment you need it most. It took about 4 hours to fully charge the battery. However, the wait was worth it. Quick charges usually mean, quick drain. I used the batteries in an Nikon SB-900. I shoot manual so I use 1/1, 1/4, 1/8. and 1/16 powers. I was able to shoot an entire event, close to 450 flash shots, without having to change the batteries.

I have been using Eneloop quite some time now. I pretty much like everything about these batteries that's why this is my second set. Only one minor issue I wish it would charge faster...

I really like the small form factor of the charger. The batteries performed as advertised. I use them in my Pentax K2000. The batteries lasted longer than any other I have used in it right out of the box. Great investment. I just ordered some "AAA" and more "AA" for other uses.

I use this as a pro photographer at weddings and events for bouncing my SB800 flashes and also for powering my off-camera flashes. I have been very happy with them as I can shoot a full 8 hour wedding day and there is no problem with running out of power. I just bought another set of 4 batts and a charger so I can have 2 off camera flashes going, or a flash on each camera all day for events. The older batteries are still charging up strong. I highly recommend these if you are looking for rechargables. The charger is compact and packs nicely in my camera bag. Good product and affordable.

The charger is not a quick charger but does charge the batteries thoroughly.

No memory. Longest life. No need to discharge in order for it to have a longer life span. It's better than other that might have higher Mah whatever. ..and its price is very good too. It's much more worth than other fancy chargers. You got a good package here, the charger and the batteries. Well built, and lives long inside out.

Bought this pack to replace a charger that I lost. Worked perfectly out of the box with my Canon 430EX II Speedlight. Charging is a bit on the slow side, but that will probably prolong the batteries life time.
You can't go wrong for the price BH is charging.

I got these for my xbox 360 wireless controllers.
Never tried rechargable batteries before.I had always went with the xbox chargers and such. What a wake up call. One set(2 batteries)of these batteries last 4 days, without having to recharge once..4 Days!!!!
And thats gaming everyday.Microsoft is selling batteries and chargers that barely last a few hours.Cant rate the longevity of these yet but so far....WAY better than my expectations.
