Ultra Analog VA-1 from Applied Acoustic Systems is a virtual instrument that aims to capture the feel of analog circuitry. The synthesizer engine is built on alias free oscillators that feature standard wave shapes, hard sync, sub oscillators and integrated pitch envelopes. Also included are multimode filters, dedicated envelope generators, and syncable LFOs.

The preset library was created by professional sound designers and covers the analog spectrum from vintage synthesizers to modern virtual analog instruments. The synthesizer is highly efficient and includes a categorized browser and ergonomic interface.

Other performance features include keyboard modes, portamento, legato functions, and a complete set of MIDI features. A user programmable pattern arpeggiator and high quality master effects complete the package.
