The JVC TK-C2201WPUA Analog MINI-DOME Vandal-proof Camera is a day/night surveillance camera with a vandal-proof design. A 1/3” format CCD provides a maximum resolution of 580 TVL for detailed image reproduction and a 3.75x vari-focal lens (2.8-10.5 mm at f/1.2) offers wide-area to close-up surveillance. Made of die-cast aluminum, the main unit offers strong resistance to vandalism, and the polycarbonate dome cover can tolerate shocks of over 50 joules.

With a minimum illumination of 0.05 lux for color images and 0.03 lux for b&w images, the MINI-DOME camera is suitable for night/low-light surveillance. 3D noise reduction further improves image quality in the dark by blending continuous frames into successive frames. The camera has a signal-to-noise ratio of 52dB. An improved Auto Tracking White balance is fairly resistant to color objects in the scene and ensures a stable white balance. A unique Area White Balance feature can apply AWB to a specific area, thus offering color-balanced images at specific zones of a scene.

A new Fine Focus Adjustment Technology applied to the analog camera for focus gear mechanism ensures focusing to the finest point. Triple axis rotation offers you flexibility for lens angle adjustment. Privacy mask feature allows you to mask up to 4 zones and addresses to privacy concerns associated with surveillance. The eco-friendly MINI-DOME camera consumes very low power (2.3 W).

With an IP66-compliant weatherproof design, the camera is suitable for outdoor application. Among other features are black level adjustment, automatic gain control, 4-area patterns for backlight compensation (BLC), 1.4x/2.0x digital zoom, CCD white spot compensation, and display mode selection for CRT and LCD. An RCA jack on the dome camera allows you to connect an external monitor for setting camera angle on the spot.
