The black Pro V-3 Jr. Video Bag from Domke follows Domke's well-known tradition of producing rugged, durable and functional bags for working photographers. Domke bags have been a mainstay of photographers for decades. They are carried by pros at the White House or students in photo schools worldwide.
This bag is uniquely created for the video shooter who wants a Domke bag "look" but needs the added padding that a video bag traditionally incorporates. This is a lightweight but very rugged bag that has a tough, water-resistant exterior yet maintains a soft, equipment-friendly interior to protect the screens and expensive video gear you may be carrying.
From the outside, you'll have dual hook and eye, heavy-duty closures as well as two touch fastened, roomy side pockets for accessories such as a telephone, MP3 player, GPS, keys and other smaller items. Carry the bag around by an adjustable, removable traditional Domke strap or a strong top carry handle. Domke has also used strong YKK zippers for added security.
Inside, you'll be surprised to find a red interior that will make finding small items easier as well as movable dividers that will allow you to configure the bag to suit your equipment needs. The interior is a soft breathable fabric that minimizes the danger of damaging condensation. Another interesting feature is the removable foam and board walls that give you the freedom to use the bag in two different ways - soft or hard-sided.

I use this to house my Nikon D90 and all it's traveling companions. I bought this because I liked the J1 but it was a bit out of my price range and also it seemed all the DSLR bags crammed all the gear together and made for a very crowded environment inside the bag, unless you went to a huge bag. This is perfectly sized for my gear and It seems as though you can throw this bag out the window and your camera will still be safe with all the padding;( I don't actually advise throwing your gear out the window just to prove a point, unless of course I am under said window with a net and a getaway car). But I fit my D90 with 18-55 attached, 55-200VR with hood reversed, 2 extra batteries, a travel charger, several filters, 3 external flashes with flash stand bases, a manual focus 400-800mm super-zoom, several fold up flash diffusers, a Gary Fong pop-up flash diffuser with 3 color kit and several manuals sd cards and a few other things. The only thing I would change is I would also use velcro on the front flap as well as the hooks and I would also have some kind of divider on the front pocket as well as some smaller pockets inside of it. But quite frankly for [$] you CANNOT beat this bag. The only reason this got 4 stars instead of 5 is the lack of pocket dividers on the front pocket and top inside flap pocket. It also has a zippered pocket on the back for a laptop!

This is a roomy bag with plenty of inserts for organizing your gear (in fact, more inserts that I could use). It's got plenty of pockets for small items...even one that will fit a laptop...and the bag is lightweight. It fits perfectly in the overhead bin on an airplane.
