Small and compact. Works great. My original I got with camera was defective and the retailer gave me the run around. Got fed up with them and found this site and got the new charger in time to capture my son as he started walking.The only con is you have to charge through USB port on computer. But luckily I have an adapter that came with my iPad if I just need to use an outlet.

I record so much that I needed more batteries. You can charge the battery while it is in the camera. But with this charger you can use the camera while a second battery is charging. I have 3 batteries for my camcorder. This way I can use the camera, while charging the next battery. Then I still have the third battery When I need it. When you need batteries fast I can Charge one in the camera and one on the charger. Works wonderful for me. I would recomend this carger.

bought this unit to charge camera battery. This unit is made to connect to a computer for power using the power from a usb port. the unit comes with a DC input but no cable. Had to use the camera cable to charge the battery. Could not charge the camera and external battery at the same time
