- SCENE for One-Touch Start
- The four SCENE buttons make operating the receiver easier than ever. They are initially set to default settings for BD/DVD viewing, CD disc listening, TV viewing and radio listening. Pressing a SCENE button will automatically launch a number of operations that initiate play of the source controlled by that button. Other SCENE settings are also available, such as iPod listening, Sirius XM listening [model dependent], TV sports viewing and action game playing. Browsing and selecting the settings is quickly accomplished by changing Input via the front panel and watching the on-screen display. The settings can be selected for one-time use, or they can replace the original default settings. The SCENE names can be changed as well

I shopped for systems for a couple months before choosing this one. Once it came in, I spent a couple hours setting it up. First thing I did once set up was complete, watch Transformers 3 on BluRay with the surround sound. AWESOME!!! ABsolutely crystal clear sound. Oh, I did pick up some better speaker wire, 16 gauge. The wire that comes with it is way too small. Only real problem I am having right now is getting my xbox 360 console to work through this. I have a first generation game box, prior to HDMI with the RGB hook ups. Sound works through the system fine but I can't seem to get the video to run through it. It's probably something I am or am not doing. I'm sure if I were to take the time to read the instructions I would be able to figure it out. But since the sound does work through it (and that's all I really care about) I am not real motivated to read the manual. By the way, I have read other reviews on this product that complained about the manual. I don't know what the fuss is about, I like the cd manual. It's interactive, searchable and doesn't kill any trees.

I used this to hook up a large basement with multiple speakers for music playback off my iPhone. I added a small mixer and wireless microphone so we could have a "karaoke" type effect and sing along with the music. The sound is awesome, the sub woofer adds great depth. I wish they sent it with just a little more speaker wire for longer runs.
