The Lensbaby Composer Pro With Sweet 35 Optic (For Nikon F) is part of the Lensbaby series of SLR lenses, and offers the same spectacular special-effect results. However, the refined and enhanced Composer Pro gives you ultra-smooth focus and tilt control and will retain its position after being bent, which makes it easy to use even with one hand. Simply tilt the lens to a desired angle and then focus with a traditional barrel focusing ring.
The Sweet 35 Optic is a 35mm optic with a 12-blade diaphragm and adjustable aperture (f2.5-f/22) that gives you unprecedented precision control over your selective focus photos--just rotate the dial on the front of the optic to quickly change the size of your in-focus "sweet spot". This is the widest focal length of any Lensbaby selective focus optics--the Sweet 35 also has close-focus capabilities. The lens can be bent off-center in any direction for different results.
The Composer Pro is compatible with the Optic Swap System--a line of different "optics" that can be interchanged with the Muse and Composer versions. This provides artists with an almost unlimited variety of looks and styles to capture their unique visions.
The Composer Pro comes supplied with the Sweet 35 Optic.

Comments about Lensbaby Composer Pro With Sweet 35 Optic (For Nikon F):
The Lensbaby Composer Pro has become a new favorite in my camera bag. After seeing an example of tilt-shift photography, I had to be able to shoot my own and this product fills the bill. I purchased it together with the Sweet 35 Optic which allows you to change the aperature size on the lens, rather than having to change\ing one of the aperature rings that comes with the double glass optic.
Oh sure, you can go into a software editing programming and create this type of photography by altering your images, but I'm "old school", and when you combine the ability to switch out with some of the other creative lens elements, along with it solid construction, it makes for a powerful tool.
I had read in some previous reviews that the lens felt light, I didn't find this to be true, rather that it feels solid and the build qualitiy is outstanding. The only footnote is that changing out the elements is a bit tricky until you get the hang of it.
I heartily recommend this lens for all you "creative types" out there.

Comments about Lensbaby Composer Pro With Sweet 35 Optic (For Nikon F):
played with the lens, looking for a new creative outlet. Utilized it on informal "practice" product shots that my friend immediately wanted to buy. Have also used it on a wedding shoot with some very nice and lovely effects however, I need to practice more with the lens; trying to maintain the "sweet spot" location after a shift may get difficult under faster paced shooting or low light situations. Possibly more of an operator issue rather than product but I'm still hashing that out. Does what it says it does; and largely performs the way I expected it perform. Really like the lens. Just need the practice....
