For those who've wondered what Photoshop icon Scott Kelby might recommend for a lighting setup, B&H offers Scott Kelby's Light It. Shoot It. Retouch It. LIVE Tour Kit. Given his reputation, it's not surprising that the kit is based on a pair of 500 W/s Elinchrom Style BX 500 Ri Compact Monolights which feature a 5 stop range, digital readout, short flash duration and recycling times as short as 0.34 seconds. Better yet they're wireless; an EL Skyport  receiver is now built-in, meaning not only remote, wireless triggering regardless of obstructions, at distances up to 394 feet, but also powering up and down or on and off with complete control of the modeling light. The kit includes an EL SPEED Transmitter to control them.

Elinchrom is renowned for their light-shaping tools and this kit is loaded with them. For those who like their light soft, a 53" Midi Octa Light Bank is included, an ideal source for portraiture. A 14 x 35" Rotalux Strip Softbox is on board for a hair, edge or sidelight. Like your lighting a bit more crisp? This kit's got that covered too. The included 17" White Minisoft Reflector is a sort of mini beauty dish that comes with a stretch-on white diffuser. All of the accessories mount directly to the heads without an additional speed ring. The provided Maxispot Grid Set includes a 7" reflector with 12, 20 and 30 degree honeycomb grids - ideal for a hairlight, kicker, eyelight or backlight. Two 7'8" A625B Midi Kit Stands complete the kit.
