Portra reproduces accurate and natural color across the entire spectrum. In addition, the fine grain of Portra permits you to print larger than traditional color negative films. Kodak's T-Grain emulsion produces a clearer and more brilliant print with excellent resolution and skin tones.

Comments about Kodak 35mm Professional Portra Color Film (ISO 160):
The new portras are beautiful films. They scan quite well even on my puny v700. Also does a nice black and white conversion.
Drop some this stuff in your F5 and you're done. Well, almost done :)
Comments about Kodak 35mm Professional Portra Color Film (ISO 160):
In an earlier post I erroneously wrote that portra 400 is only a little better than this file. I got that backwards. The 100 is obviously finer grained and more saturated, but not by a lot. I love them both.
Comments about Kodak 35mm Professional Portra Color Film (ISO 160):
The 400 is only slightly better, but if you have plenty of light you may as well use this film. Slightly better on grain than the 400. Beautiful film. Scans great with silverfast on my plustek 7600i. This give you another reason to love film.
Shooting under strong lighting the sun shining hard on a white t-shirt and yet keeping details while the shadowed face holds it together as well.
