Comments about Olympus PT-EP03 Underwater Housing for E-PL2 Camera:
This is a totally adequate low cost housing for the epl2. I like the housing better than the camera itself.
There are lots of optional ports, such as the zen domes, to make this take better wide angle pix, underwater.

Comments about Olympus PT-EP03 Underwater Housing for E-PL2 Camera:
The E-PL2 / PT-EP03 combo is by far the cheapest way of getting a large sensor camera underwater. That said, moving from a compact to an ILC or a DSLR means a) a lot of money spent and b) learning new techniques. As the zoom ring is ON THE LENS, it should be obvious that you can't operate it one handed, and since the housing offers a knob for zoom / MF, you'll need a zoom gear (for zoom lenses) or a focus gear (for fixed focal length lenses). This is true for all such housings and not a deficiency of the housing. To rate it lower based on this is ridiculous. This is a solid 4 star housing, taking price vs performance into account. Only drawback is faux fixed port system, but there's plenty of ports out there as well as information on how to remove the stock port.

Comments about Olympus PT-EP03 Underwater Housing for E-PL2 Camera:
I have not used the housing yet while diving, however while testing the fit and function with my new E-PL2 it was obvious that the zoom wasn't working. [...] I need to buy an expensive zoom ring. There was nothing mentioned about this extra ridiculous expense. Honestly, I see no reason that an additional part should be required, rather than the function designed into the housing. Also, having traded 'up' from an Olympus SP-350 dive setup, the zoom feature itself is very clumsy, compared to the simplicity of the SP-350. It required both hands to zoom rather than a quick and simple single-handed operation. I'm sure I'll get used to it but there are many times that a single-handed zoom is the only way to get a shot. The camera takes beautiful shots so I won't get rid of it for this deficiency but I'm also not sure why they hid the dive settings deep in a menu rather than leaving them easily assessable in 'scene' mode as with the E-PL1 and others.
