International orders*The Roland SD-50 Mobile Studio Canvas Sound Module is a compact and portable sound generator, audio interface, MIDI interface and audio file player that may be used on its own, with a MIDI keyboard, or with a Mac or PC. The SD-50 Mobile Studio Canvas is loaded with up to 1,125 professional grade sounds, that include 32 drum sets and reserved sounds for GM2 (General MIDI 2) and GS (General Standard) playback.
The SD-50 is intended to be an intuitive, all-in-one sound source with a built in audio interface that supports 24Bit / 44.1kHz audio resolution to your favorite recording software. The interface features 2 microphone inputs with phantom power and a guitar input. Its MIDI interface features a MIDI input and output, and the SD-50 supports playback of MP3, WAV and AIFF audio files from a USB storage device.
The SD-50's enhanced transport controls are ideal for musicians, DJs and karaoke enthusiasts. Easily change keys, tempos, A/B loop locations, repeat and remove the center channel (vocal) from tracks for karaoke use. In addition to all this, the SD-50 Mobile Studio Canvas may be powered with its USB input, batteries or the included AC power supply. For Windows users, the included Sonar LE software from Cakewalk delivers a professional platform for recording, editing and sequencing with a PC.
Note! Sonar LE Software operates on Windows only. The SD-50 Mobile Studio Canvas operates on Mac and Windows OS.
