International orders*The Ambient Recording TC4032 Low-Noise Sea-State Zero Hydrophone is a professional underwater microphone intended for capturing marine life, scientific exploration, audio for video and film, sound-design applications and more. The TC4032 low-noise performance and high sensitivity is attributed to its piezoelectric element and integral low-noise 10dB preamplifier.
The result is a durable, underwater microphone with a 5Hz to 120kHz frequency response, and absolute sound measurements of very weak signals at levels below sea-state zero. The 10dB preamplifier is capable of supporting long cable runs of over 3,280' (1000m). The microphone's omnidirectional polar pattern covers both horizontal and vertical planes, and the NBR (Nitrile Rubber) construction protects the element from fresh water, sea water and oil.
Note! Cable sold separately
