International orders*The Ambient Recording TC4042 Low-Noise Spherical Hydrophone is a professional underwater microphone intended for capturing marine life, scientific exploration, audio for video and film, sound-design applications and more. The TC4042 low-noise performance and high sensitivity is attributed to its spherical differential sensor and integral low-noise 20dB preamplifier.
The result is a durable, underwater microphone with a 5Hz to 85kHz frequency response. The 20dB preamplifier is capable of supporting long cable runs of over 3,280' (1000m). The microphone's omnidirectional polar pattern covers both horizontal and vertical planes, and the NBR (Nitrile Rubber) construction protects the element from fresh water, sea water and oil.
Note! Cable sold separately
