And thanks to the Sony Clear Phase stereo speakers, your videos will sound as good as they look.
When it comes to the more traditional aspects of a camcorder, the PJ10E more than holds its own. Capture full 1920 x 1080 high def video in 50p, 50i, or the more cinematic 25p. Helping smooth the way are the camera's 'Exmor R' CMOS sensor, Wide Angle G lens, 42x Extended zoom, 3.0" touch screen LCD, and optical image stabilization, which ensure that your images will jump off the screen even in low light.
A number of user-friendly shooting controls come in handy as well, including Intelligent Auto, Golf Shot, and Tracking Focus, for more specific image effects. And if you're serious about audio, then microphone and headphone jacks are included so you can record (and monitor) sound using an off-camera mic--just like the pros!

most of the time its used for my 2yr old daugther and her antics. provides great quality. a step up from my first HDD camcorder (not High-Def. bought a wide angle lens for it. you'll want another battery pack too.
