The Sony HDR-PJ30E HD Camcorder with Projector (PAL) is more than your ordinary high-def camera. The PJ30E boasts not only 50p and 25p full HD recording, but a built-in projector as well. Now, instead of sharing your videos and stills on merely a home HDTV, you can project them right onto the nearest wall or a 60" screen. And with the two available frame rates, you can give your videos the film-like look of 25p or the sharper, more TV-like 50p.
When it comes to the camera's more conventional aspects, you'll find all things you would expect in a device of this caliber: a 3.0" touchscreen LCD, 17x extended zoom, optical image stabilization, a wide angle zoom lens... You'll also find a few things that you weren't expecting, like 5.1 channel Dolby Digital Surround Sound recording. In fact, the camera is full of audio enhancements, such as Sony's built-in Clear Phase stereo speakers, mic and headphone connections, and wind noise reduction.
Shooting controls like Intelligent Auto help take the guesswork out of recording. Some other useful controls include Golf Shot and Tracking Focus. When it comes to features that come into play after recording, Highlight Playback, Event Browse, and NAVTEQ maps help you organize, jazz up, and review your footage in fun and unique ways. And of course, the PJ30E comes with editing software included so you can edit and share your memories with ease.

Its a good camcorder specially for home movies and indoor functions and produces very good quality pictures. Projector is of very good quality and makes more handy to watch the videos anywhere.
The zoom effect is not much effective for long distance shooting.
