Vello GSP-C7D Glass LCD Screen Protector
The Vello GSP-C7D Glass LCD Screen Protector is specifically designed to protect the LCD screen of the Canon EOS 7D. It can also be used on select other Canon, Fuji, Kodak, Fuji, Nikon, and Samsung cameras. The GSP-C7D is a sheet of 0.02" (0.5mm) ultra-thin optical glass used to protect your camera's LCD monitor. The glass features 6 layers of protective material that protect your display screen from dirt, scratches, sweat and oily fingerprints. The glass also blocks UV rays while allowing visible light in. The protector is easy to install and remove.
Note! Environments with excessive heat and humidity will shorten the useful life of the adhesive on the glass.

Looks very professional. Most people don't even realize it is aftermarket. I didn't center it perfecty and it is annoying to no end. Ordered another. It fits perfectly, I put it a little to the right thinking it was sligthly smaller, it isn't. Still I can see everything. Makes me feel much more confident versus the flimsy plastic protector I had on before.

The protector goes on easily and is then almost invisible. I almost forgot it was on. I spend lots of time in the bush, on the beach, and on the water doing wildlife photography. My gear gets well used. So far so good.
PS I have a Canon 7D - the protector I bought was designed for the 7D.

This LCD glass protector installed easily, and fit perfectly on my new Canon 7D, LCD. The black "Vello" bezel matches the width of the Canon LCD bezel exactly so there is no loss of screen real estate while providing more then adequate adhesion on all edges. Being glass, and quality glass at that, clarity is outstanding with no loss in visible resolution.

I've had this screen protector for about 3 months and it is perfect for my needs. I wanted something that is very unnoticeable. This sits very flat against your screen, doesn't screw up the imaging on the lcd and it protects your screen. Unlike the picture, the border of this is not chrome, it is black...which is much better. It's very hard to tell it is even on there. Installation took about 2 minutes and i couldn't be happier.

This LCD glass protector installed easily, and fit perfectly on my Canon 7D rear LCD. The black "Vello" bezel matches the width of the Canon LCD bezel exactly so there is no loss of screen real estate while providing more then adequate adhesion on all edges. Being glass, and quality glass at that, clarity is outstanding with no loss in visible resolution. For a glass protector the profile is surprisingly thin, which is a plus for me and I don't feel it compromises the protection at all.
On a side note, a friend and fellow photog enthusiast did not even noticed I had a protector installed and was surprised to learn there was one on it.
Quality that's definitely worth the peace of mind.

I am impressed with this screen protector. It installed easily and quickly and you hardly know it's there after it is installed. I had an Invisible Shield on a previous camera which did a good job but was a bit of a pain to install. I'll stick with this brand from now on. I also bought the version for the Canon 5DM2.

With the weight and bulkiness of the Canon 7D and a large 300mm f/2.8 lens ...the potential for the LCD screen to get damaged is good. I hike around in the woods and have had some near misses with scratching my LCD screen. This glass protector fits perfectly...just take your time to align it.
Now it will receive any potential damage and not the 7D screen.

Put simply, I don't worry about scratching my screen anymore. I had read that this was a great screen protector, but it had been out of stock for a while.
