Comments about Vello Glass LCD Screen Protector for Nikon D700:
I absolutely hated the plastic protector that came with the D700, BUT since I use the Blackrapid strap and the LCD lens brush against my body/belt/other, there is a huge risk of LCD scratches. The Glass LCD protector is perfect. It is very scratch resistant AND does not degrade the LCD image!

Comments about Vello Glass LCD Screen Protector for Nikon D700:
Easy installation and perfectly clear, far superior to both leaving the plastic cover on or worrying about the actual LCD glass. An added bonus I did not expect was a little sheet of glass to cover the top LCD info screen. Easy install and easy removal, if necessary. This is glass, not plastic!

Comments about Vello Glass LCD Screen Protector for Nikon D700:
Excellent quality. I was concerned that there might be bubbles but the protector adheres easily and required little pressure.
It was an excellent surprise to find in the package a glass cover the the top lcd panel of the camera as well. While I don't have to worry about nose smudges on the top control LCD - I have seen people break that glass. This provides an additional layer of protection with no drawbacks.
