The Cowon 32GB D3 Plenue (Black) is a portable multimedia player with a 3.7" AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display that features 800 x 480 resolution, touch feedback and a G-sensor for automatic orientation adjustment. The D3 uses an Android operating system and is equipped with an internal 32GB flash memory that can be easily expanded by utilizing the MicroSD storage expansion card slot. Supporting several audio, video, photo and text file formats, the D3 is capable of full HD 1080p video playback. It can also use the NTFS format to quickly transfer and copy large, high-quality files, making it fast and easy to watch videos on the D3 in up to 1920 x 1080p resolution. There's even an HDMI output for sharing the D3's content in uncompressed 1080p on the large screen of an HDTV.
Designed for multimedia, the Cowon D3 has the JetEffect 3.0 BBE+ audio enhancer technology to match its stunning visual technology. Besides offering 39 EQ presets, 5-band equalizer and EQ filter, the JetEffect 3.0 BBE+ also affords the BBE sound refiner, Mach3Bass enhancer, 3D surround sound effect and MP enhance for enriching harmonics lost through compression. It even features a stereo enhancer for enriched stereo sound and a reverb function that maximizes the natural and live presence of your music. For enjoying the high-quality audio, the D3 has an integrated speaker and also comes bundled with Cowon's SE2 earphones, which produce deep, penetrating bass tones and mellifluously lucid treble that authentically reproduces the expressive range of sounds created by the JetEffect 3.0 BBE+ audio system.
If you want to surf the web and view Internet content, the D3 has Wi-Fi connectivity. The capacitive touchscreen with touch feedback and 3.7" AMOLED display makes surfing the web efficient and enjoyable. As long as you have access to a Wi-Fi network, the D3 will afford full-page Internet viewing. Plus, the D3 enables you to use Twitter and quickly access, read and compose your emails from most email accounts. As an added luxury, the D3 is also Bluetooth-enabled for those interested using a wireless Bluetooth headset, which provides users the liberty to move freely without interruption from restricting cables.
Offering a wealth of entertainment possibilities, the D3 comes complete with an FM radio and FM recorder for recording and saving your favorite broadcasts and shows to listen to at your leisure. There's an integrated microphone recorder as well, which can be used to record your thoughts, class lectures and corporate meetings. The mic recorder files can also be saved to the D3 for reference at a later date. Other features like Paint, Comix, Documents, Personal Photo Album, Calendar and Contacts offer even more entertainment and organization options. The D3 even takes the typical calculator feature to another level by offering users a regular calculator, as well as a scientific calculator that can be used to perform complex operations. For the hours of media storage possible on your 32GB D3, Cowon has endowed it with a built-in rechargeable lithium polymer battery that can play 21 hours of straight music or 10 hours of straight video. The battery can also be charged via AC adapter or USB cable.

OF ALL THE PORTABLE MEDIA PLAYERS THAT B&H OFFERS, THE COWON D3 PLENUE IS THE MOST EXPENSIVE AND WITH GOOD REASON. IT IS THE BEST. ALL THE FEATURES OF THE D3 ARE OVERWHELMING. IT'S LARGE VIEWING SCREEN IS OUTSTANDING. A 32GB BUILT-IN MEMORY AND A 32GB MICRO SD CARD GIVES ME 64 GB. THE COWON MEDIA SOFTWARE IS A PLUS. THE SOFTWARE CONVERTED MY BD VIDEOS INTO A GREAT LOOKING AVI FORMAT DESIGNED FOR THE D3. THE VIDEOS ON THE PLAYER LOOK AS SHARP AS THE BD VIDEOS LOOK ON A PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL. THIS WAY HOURS AND HOURS OF VIDEO CAN BE KEPT IN THE INTERNAL MEMORY. PLAYING BACK A 2 HOUR VIDEO STREAMS PERFECTLY. I ADDED A SONY BLUETOOTH HEADSET, AND WOW! DIGITAL IMAGES ARE SHARP AND COLORFULL. THE EXTRAS IN THE D3 KEEP GOING ON. TRY IT OUT YOURSELF.
